Photo No.1 is a test they did in 2003 when they took this picture in 2004. You see how they piled up all the cabbage and cypress tress’s. If you will look at what’s left of the prairie canal it’s nice and organized…if you can call mass murder on 3 different species of turtles and gator’s that they buried alive.
Now look at photos 2-7 in which they went back another 50 feet than they had to. Once they got there money for the first phase of the project that cost 16.4 Million they started pushing tree’s and other debris in the canal so it could rot. In return the water is undrinkable for the wildlife in this area, lime rock covers a thin layer over use to be trees and there are sinkholes for the wildlife to break there legs and cut themselves when they chase.
Where there was once cypress and cabbage and brazilian pepper that deer, bears, squirrels and turkeys that live off the berries for months out of the year are gone, replaced by dog fennel and rag weed that serves no food source what so ever!
