The pictures above is of three of the 19 culverts that were to be put in down US 41. As you see in the first frame the water that is supposed to be flowing south is in fact flowing east and west because of a spring tide on the south side of US 41. So what you have is brackish water meeting fresh water head on. These three culverts are next to SR 29 going to Everglades City, which is about 12 miles from Picayune and the 10,000 Islands which Water Management intended it to go to, is the only three culverts they put in out of the 19 culverts they say they have installed, but we the tax payers have payed for. I wonder where those millions went...you should start to see a pattern here.
